To All

The norther portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula is experiencing some abnormal snow fall. 18 inches is not abnormal. What is abnormal is the first 4-6 inches was generated at 34-38 degrees Fahrenheit. There is the possibility/probability that the heavy wet snow will become encapsulated on the lines due to the rapidly falling temps. We are somewhat concerned that this build-up coupled with sustained winds above 15 mph might cause outages.

Sid- I will supply pictures/times and locations if this occurs.

Will update if necessary
