So far Tennessee is faring a little better than Kentucky but time will tell. Checking our members with outage notification we currently have approximately 1,300 without power. No real wind to speak of and the southern systems have no outages to speak of. Looking forward to hearing the same (hopefully) on tomorrows conference call.

Subject: KY Update - Friday pm

With the exception of approximately 7,000 outages within our Co-ops along the KY/TN border, we have fared well so far today. We have a lot of snow (up to 12" - 15" in the east), but it has not been too wet or heavy. The snow is expected to continue along with high winds tonight, so we are not out of the woods yet. Saturday night's low temps are supposed to be near zero through most of the state - fun stuff!

All that said, I just wanted to give you guys an update....hopefully we will continue to be okay through the night. Who knows, come Sunday morning, we may be able to "send" instead of "receive."

Thanks everybody - stay warm + safe this weekend!
