While the snow flies and accumulates in parts of the North Central, Midwest, and Northeast Regions this weekend, take note of several areas across the U.S. that are still experiencing D3 (Extreme) and D4 (Exceptional) Drought. Many areas need much more precipitation going into the Winter months, or Wildfire Risks will continue to increase.

Currently, there is D3 Extreme Drought in parts of TX, MS, TN, AL, MD, DE, PA, NJ, MA, OH, ND, SD, WY, NE, CO, MT, ID, NV, CA, NV, AZ & NM (22 states).

There is D4 Exceptional Drought in parts of TX & MT (2 states).
