MARGINAL Severe Thunderstorm Risk, Day 3 (Tuesday, 11/19/24), parts LA, MS, AL & FL panhandle as remnants of Tropical Storm Sara begin making their way to the southeast Gulf of Mexico coastal states. Forecast rainfall amounts currently in the 2” to 5” range.

RED FLAG FIRE WARNINGS, Day 1 (Sunday, 11/17/24), parts NY, NJ & CT.

North Dakota to receive its first significant snowfall this fall/winter, with from 3” to 6”+ in the forecast beginning Tuesday through Wednesday of this coming week.

Tropical Storm Sara dumped up to 40” of total rainfall in parts of Honduras over the last 72-hours. Sara is now making its way toward Belize, then into parts northern Guatemala and will eventually weaken as it crosses the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula. Models still continue to show Sara as a fairly week Tropical Storm that could have moderate to heavy rainfall impacts (flooding & flash flooding) on several Southeast Region states from Tuesday through Thursday or Friday of this coming week.
