FYI… Milton has max sustained winds of 160 mph and forward movement has increased to 12 mph; still moving east-northeast. Track moves slightly south again, with potential landfall late tomorrow night between Sarasota and Venice. Max winds at landfall now predicted to be in the 125 to 130 mph range; 85 to 95 mph winds inland. Storm surge 8’ to 12’ in areas of impact near Sarasota & Venice and points just south. From 4” up to 16” of storm total rainfall. Some tornadoes possible tomorrow as Milton draws near west coast of FL and moves inland.
