Electric Cooperatives in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and now Virginia are continuing the power restoration efforts in their respective states this morning in the wake of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Debby. Co-op outages in Florida are less than 28,000 this morning, and less than 1,500 Co-op members are without power in Georgia and South Carolina as of 8AM EDT Wednesday, August 7. Heavy Rains from Debby will gradually move north-northeast over the next 3 days, up to 10” in some areas of Virginia, and over 6” in parts of eastern Pennsylvania.
