Interests in the Southeast Region and coastal states of MS, AL, FL, GA, SC & NC should keep a close watch on Invest 97-L, a soon-to-be Tropical Storm that will likely enter the southeastern Gulf of Mexico this weekend. The  southern and western peninsula of Florida could be impacted by late weekend and early next week. Increasingly high winds and heavy rainfall is expected, primarily in parts of Florida, but heavy rainfall from this system could also impact several coastal states, including Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and the Carolinas next week.
