NHC forecasters are now giving this disturbance a 40% chance of development into a Tropical Depression by mid-week. Again, this system will need to be watched closely by interests along the Gulf of Mexico, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina over the next 5 to 7 days. - Sid Sperry
