A strong Cold Front continues to move south-southeast across much of the eastern 2/3 of the U.S. Heat Advisories decreasing in North Central, South Central & Southeast Region states. Western states continue to bake, with no precipitation chances in sight.
RED FLAG FIRE WARNINGS across parts WA, OR & ID.
Thunderstorms with training rain events possible this morning across parts KS, OK, AR, MO, IL, IN & KY. Flooding and Flash Flooding likely in some areas due to heavy rainfall.
Above-average temperatures accompanied by Heat Advisories forecast for western third of U.S. over next 7 to 10 days. No significant precipitation expected in Western Region states over next 7 to 10 days.
