FYI…

Currently, Invest 97L in the Central Caribbean Sea is not a direct threat to the U.S. mainland. However, this system has a 50% chance of further development over the next 7 days, and some hurricane forecast models have this system curling into the Gulf of Mexico over a 7-day forecast period. Some rainfall for southern FL is possible toward the end of the 7-day forecast period.
