FYI… SPIA Index Levels 1 thru 4 across at least 10 states. Again, SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS will be the determining factors for impacts to utilities in this storm, both from a Snow and from an Ice Accumulation perspective. Sustained winds are currently in the 25 to 35 mph range in most areas of projected impacts, with some areas in the 35 to 45 mph range. IF these wind forecasts verify, utility infrastructure damage could be significant in several states.
