Current NHC Forecast Track would take Ian into the Apalachee Bay as a Category 1 or Category 2 hurricane on Thursday night or early Friday morning. One thing to note: the further west Ian continues to move, the more the eventual track will also move westward. States potentially impacted could be MS, AL, FL, GA & SC. After landfall late next week, other states potentially impacted by high winds, heavy rain and possible tornadoes could be TN, NC, KY and VA.
Looking forward to Mike’s conference call tomorrow afternoon, 3:45pm EDT, 2:45pm CDT.
