NHC’s latest update (5pm EDT) gives a Tropical Wave east of the Windward Islands an 80% chance of further development over the next 5 days. Now one to watch very closely. Hurricane Fiona is now a Category 3 hurricane, the first Major Hurricane in the Atlantic this hurricane season.
