Some satellite views of Hurricane Fiona, now a Category 2 Hurricane with sustained winds of 105 mph. Fiona is expected to become a Category 3 (Major Hurricane) by sometime Tuesday morning, with sustained winds in excess of 110 mph. Still no threat to the U.S. mainland, but will likely threaten the Bahamas and Bermuda over next few days. Fiona dumped over 20” of rain in parts of Puerto Rico.

FYI… Another system developing east of the Windward Islands. NHC currently gives it a 30% chance of development over 5 days. One to watch, as the forecast track is even further south than was Fiona’s track.
