Note the extremely high temperature forecasts on Tuesday across parts of KS, OK, TX, AZ, CA and NV. Record-setting high temperatures are being forecast for those states. The central U.S. states, including MT, ND, MN, WY, SD, NE, IA, CO, KS, OK, AR, TX & LA are baking in 100-degree plus heat right now, and this heat is forecast to continue thru at least the first week in August, with little to no precipitation in the forecast for many areas. Drought - and Wildfire Risk - continues across many central and western states.
