Both of the Long-Term Forecast Models (Euro Model or ECMWF, and American Model or GFS) have increasing rain chances across the South Central Region and North Central Region beginning late next Wednesday (16th) and continuing through next Friday (18th). Rain chances also go up the following week on Thursday & Friday, February 24th-25th.
Winter weather and snow has a higher probability across the northern tier of states, from MT to ND, MN, WI, MI, NY, VT, NH and ME, with some additional snow in the forecast late next week in the WY, CO & NM Rockies.
Colder temps persist in the North Central and Northeast Regions thru late this week.
