Elevated to Critical Fire Risk, Days 1 & 2 (Today thru Thursday morning); some thunderstorms possible Thursday and Friday in South-Central U.S., but no severe.

FYI… Elevated to Critical Fire Risk areas for Days 1 & 2 have extended eastward from last night’s forecast from the NWS. This is primarily due to strong sustained winds of from 25 to 35 mph being in the forecast from this morning through Thursday morning, Thanksgiving Day. Gusts of from 35 to 50 mph are possible, further elevating Fire Risk.
Some thunderstorms are possible Thursday and Friday across parts of OK, TX, AR, MO, LA, TN and MS though no severe thunderstorms are in the forecast by NWS at this time.
