The 16th and 17th Tropical Storms of this hurricane season formed over the weekend, but neither appear to be a threat to the United States. Tropical Storm “Peter” could impact the island of Bermuda by late this week as it is expected to turn north from its current track by mid-week. It became the 16th Tropical Storm early this past weekend.

Tropical Storm “Rose” form late this past weekend and is the 17th named Atlantic storm of the season. It is expected to meander in the eastern Atlantic and will not impact the Continental United States. The next Tropical Storm to form will be named “Sam.”
