Good Thursday morning to all.
Here is this mornings’ radar showing lingering rain showers and a few thunderstorms across parts of southeastern LA, southern MS, southern AL, and the FL Panhandle. These rain showers and storms should clear these areas by late today. Some parts of these areas have received more than 10” of total rainfall over the last 4 days.
The Tropical Disturbance about 250 miles south-southeast off the Outer Banks of NC is continuing to organize and is moving north-northeast. This disturbance is expected to form into a Tropical Depression (TD) sometime today or tomorrow, and could cause some impacts along the southeast and mid-Atlantic coastlines over the next 5 days. High surf and maritime Gail Force winds are the primary concerns at this time.
