FYI… latest National Hurricane Center forecast, as of 2:00pm EDT. Both Disturbance #1 and Disturbance #2 are now being given a 70% chance of developing into either Tropical Depressions, or Tropical Storms, within the next 5 days. Note that the NHC forecast track for Disturbance #1 has shifted ever so slightly to the east; this raises the chances that parts of far south Texas could be impacted by whatever develops in the western Gulf of Mexico.
