Latest Tropical Weather Outlook from the National Hurricane Center… Sidney Sperry 10 Sep 2021 01:27 UTC
FYI… Two more tropical disturbances have the potential for further development over the next 5 days. The first, or Disturbance #1, is currently located in the western Caribbean Sea and is forecast to move northwest across the Yucatán Peninsula over the next 2 to 3 days. Once it enters the Bay of Campeche and southern Gulf of Mexico, it is given a 40% chance of further development, possibly forming a Tropical Depression or Tropical Storm by early next week. Models suggest movement along the eastern Mexico coastline, and possibly reaching far south Texas.

Disturbance #2 is just now forming off of the western Africa coast. NHC is giving this disturbance a high (70%) chance of formation into a Tropical Depression or Tropical Storm over the next 5 days. Certainly worth keeping an eye on these two storm systems.
