FYI… Tropical Storm “Larry” has formed just off the West African coast this morning with sustained winds of 45 mph. Its current movement is to the west at 20 mph. Forecasters are predicting that “Larry” will rapidly intensify into a major hurricane and by Saturday take a slight northwestward track toward Bermuda. While this Tropical Storm is early in its development, it should be watched closely by those on the eastern U.S. coastline, especially over the next 5 to 10 days. - Sid Sperry
