FYI… some heavy rainfall associated with the remnants of what was Tropical Storm “Danny” remains over parts of western GA and northern AL this morning. This rainfall will likely dissipate over the next 24-hours as this system moves further west-northwest.

Another tropical system (#1, in Orange) is making its way toward the Lesser Antilles. The NHC is currently giving this system a 40% chance of developing into a Tropical Storm over the next 5 days. Again, this will be a system to keep an eye on as it approaches warmer waters near the Caribbean.
