Tropical Depression #4 (formerly Invest 96L) has been upgraded to Tropical Storm “Danny” by NHC forecasters, after an afternoon Air Force Reserve reconnaissance flight indicated that winds have increased to 40 mph, with higher gusts. “Danny” is currently located about 45 miles South-Southeast of Charleston, SC. Tropical Storm Force winds and heavy rainfall/flooding in South Carolina and Georgia are likely to be the greatest impacts from this storm over the next 2 days. - Sid Sperry
