FYI… NHC forecasters now give Invest 96L a 50 percent chance of developing into a tropical storm over the next 5 days. Moderate to heavy rainfall could occur along the GA and SC coastlines as this disturbance continues to move west-northwest.

Invest 95L continues moving west-northwest off the Western Africa coast. It’s development is being hindered by cooler sea surface temperatures in its current location, along with the potential for this system to run into dryer air as it moves to the west. NHC forecasters currently give this storm a 30 percent chance of developing into a tropical storm over the next 5 days as the system moves toward the Caribbean Islands.
