Two potential Tropical Storms developing in the Atlantic; neither appear to be a major threat to Continental U.S. at this time. Still worth watching over next 3-5 days

FYI… Disturbance #2 is about 600 miles southeast of the Florida and Georgia coastlines and will likely move very near to parts FL, GA, SC & NC over the next 48-72 hours. However, it will be moving into somewhat dryer air as it moves west-northwest. Still, some moderate to locally heavy rainfall could be possible along those state’s coastlines beginning Tuesday and continuing Wednesday.
A second disturbance, Invest 95L, is moving off the coast of Western Africa and is now about 600 miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands, moving west-northwest. NHC forecasters are now giving it a 30% chance of developing into a Tropical Storm over the next 5 days as it tracks toward warmer waters near the Caribbean. This storm will need to be watched closely for potential development into a Tropical Storm by mid/late week.
