FYI... NHC has now upgraded Potential Tropical Storm #3 to Tropical Storm Claudette early this morning. Center is now located just northeast of Houma, LA, but main Storm is in southern MS, southern AL, and the western FL panhandle right now. Heavy rainfall (from 8” to 15” possible), flooding, flash flooding, gusty winds to 45 mph, and some tornadoes are main concerns for impacts. Claudette will move east-northeast through AL, GA, SC and NC over next 2 to 3 days. - Sid Sperry
