FYI... from local National Weather Service forecast offices concerning Invest 92L, which is expected to develop into Tropical Depression “Claudette” over the next 24-36 hours as it moves northward into the western Gulf of Mexico. Heaviest rainfall is forecast to be on the east-northeast side of the Depression as it moves northward. Below are forecasts from NWS Lake Charles, NWS New Orleans-Baton Rouge, NWS Mobile-Pensacola, NWS Tallahassee, and NWS Peachtree City-Atlanta. Note that storm total rainfall amounts in some areas could exceed 8” to 10”+.   - Sid Sperry
