FYI... this system is expected to further organize over the next 5 to 7 days, with formation chances now at 40% that it will organize into a tropical storm. Main impacts at this time are forecast heavy rainfall in parts of Central America and Southern Mexico. Extended, long range models have this system gradually moving north, into the Gulf of Mexico, with the possibility of heavy rainfall along the southeastern Texas coastline over the next 10 days. Will continue to watch the NHC forecasts and update as needed.
