FYI... Severe storms are possible today and tonight, into Friday morning, across the TX panhandle, parts of north TX, much of OK, parts of northwest AR, and southwest MO. Potential impacts include large hail (from 1" up to 3"), damaging winds (from 60 to 80 mph), and a few tornadoes, primarily in northeastern OK, northwest AR and southwest MO. Isolated heavy rainfall up to 3"+ is also possible in some areas on Thursday afternoon, evening, and into the early morning hours on Friday. Once this storm system clears, the rest of the Memorial Day weekend looks pretty good across much of the United States.
