Just an FYI... Tropical Storm “Epsilon” formed in the west-central Atlantic yesterday, about 450 miles east-southeast of Bermuda. It is expected to develop into a hurricane by Wednesday. Epsilon is the 26th named Tropical Storm of this hurricane season, only the fourth time since records have been kept that this has happened. It should be noted that Epsilon currently presents no threat to the continental United States.
Meanwhile, Disturbance #1 that has been sitting stationary in the northwestern Caribbean Sea is beginning to diminish in its chances for further development. It does not represent a threat to the Gulf states at this time. - Sid Sperry
