All,
The National Hurricane Center has now raised the formation chances of two tropical disturbances, one (1) about 600 miles east-southeast of Bermuda, the other (2) in the southwestern Caribbean Sea.
The first Tropical Disturbance formation chances into a Tropical Depression have now increased to 40 percent. That is up 20 percent from 2 days ago. Movement of this Disturbance is expected to be in a west-southwesterly direction over the next 5 to 7 days, and will need to be monitored for further development and organization.
The second Tropical Disturbance in the southwestern Caribbean Sea has been mostly stationary for the last 3 days now, but is increasing in organization. It’s formation chances into a Tropical Depression is now at 30 percent. Certainly, both of these disturbances bear watching over the next 5 to 7 days. - Sid Sperry, OAEC
