Subject: BULK: NHC 5am Updates on Hurricane Teddy - Does not appear to be a threat to U.S. mainland at this time...

CAUTION: External email.

No active threats to U.S. mainland from Tropical Systems in the Atlantic at this time. Sally was downgraded to a Tropical Storm around 9:30pm last night. Should be further downgraded to a Tropical Depression later today. Sally will still produce heavy rainfall as it continues to move to the northeast, toward GA, SC, and NC.

Hurricane Teddy is forecast to strengthen briefly over the next 3 days before weakening and taking a more north-northeastward track when nearing Bermuda. It appears to not be a threat to the U.S. mainland at this time. Nor does Vicky. - Sid Sperry
