There are now FIVE active “disturbances” in the Atlantic, per the latest forecast update from the NHC. Of the 5 active systems, only two appear to be likely to form into Tropical Cyclones. Disturbance #1 will likely turn into a Tropical Depression either late tonight or by tomorrow morning - there is now a 100% chance that it will do so, per NHC forecasters. Movement is still west-northwest. Disturbance #2 is just off the west coast of Africa, near Senegal. Environmental conditions are conducive to further development of this potential Tropical Depression, which could form over the next 24 to 36 hours. Movement is west-northwest at this time. Formation chance is 90%. - Sid
