FL EOC sent us this website earlier today (see description below) which has all the states emergency docs and waivers.  There is a lot of information on the site, but click here to go directly to the page with the waivers, etc.  Once there, scroll down to Government Declarations/Waivers.

 

It appears that the site will allow you to sign up for automatic updates as well.

UPDATE #2:  

 

According to the storm trackers The storm track has shifted southward this morning.  

 

Life-threatening storm surge is likely along portions of the coastlines of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia, and a Storm Surge Watch is in effect for a portion of this area.

 

   

The electric sector mutual assistance resources are still moving today and tomorrow  from around the country to the impacted states (VA, NC, SC, GA). These resource movements will adjust continually as the weather and its impacts change. 

 

The regional mutual assistance groups continue to monitor the hurricane and discuss resource needs as the storm continues to evolve.

 

 

As with all storms, this information may change without notice as the storm moves.

 

 

DECLARATIONS & WAIVERS UPDATE:

FEDERAL MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (FMCSA)  

A Federal Regional Emergency Declaration dated September 10, 2018 has been issued covering the states of DE, DC, FL, GA, MD, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, VA and WV. 

Drivers should have copies available in their vehicles if needed.

Declarations of Emergency: MD, DC, VA, NC, SC, KY

 

Evacuation Orders: SC, apparently some major traffic jams & possible road closures 

 

Waivers for Transportation: GA, NC, FL, VA, SC  

 

Waiver for Fuel: NC

DHS / FEMA DASHBOARD:

The Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) National Infrastructure Coordination Center (NICC) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) National Business Emergency Operations Center (NBEOC) have established a hurricane information dashboard for the Atlantic Ocean storms - Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Isaac, which is moving further south toward the Caribbean Sea.

Private sector is requesting guidance/help to expedite fleet movement by getting through your state's toll and weigh stations as they pass though your state on the way to the Mid-Atlantic Region. Use the Fleet Movement Spreadsheet below to determine if your state is a "pass through" state. 

 

Specifically, assistance/guidance is being requested for navigating weigh stations quickly.

 

Please forward guidance and/or any PDF files of emergency declarations, executive orders, waivers, and other guidance/information from your state to:

 

 

 

Situational Awareness Tools:

 

The private sector should monitor the Fleet Response Working Group's situational awareness tools for ongoing updates:

  • STORM Central Website  - for centralized state/federal Declarations of Emergency, Executive Orders, Waivers, Travel Bans, Guidance, etc..
  • The GeoCollaborate Daily Disaster Dashboard - for regional, real-time situational awareness on weather, documents, live updates, etc..
