Greetings everyone:

Thanks to all of you that sent crews, offered to send crews, or just kept us in your thoughts and prayers.  For the storm that was take a “U” turn at Charleston, it sure kicked us in the teeth.

Things are getting back to normal now.  We had every available NC crew working as well as those from five other States.  We experienced 500 year flood levels that we have not seen since hurricane Floyd some 17 years back, go figure.  Waters are still above flood stage along some river basins.

As can be expected, there were a few hiccups in the organized chaos.  A couple of systems had the hotels flooded and/or commandeered by the National Guard.  A hot meal was difficult to come by at times.  But as far as I know, there were no injuries throughout the event and for that, we can all be thankful.

Again, many thanks to all.

Sincerely,
