Hello All,
Right now FL Crews are supposed to help MS. At today's 10 am call with the MS Statewide, we heard that the storm is still going through MS and half the coops are getting hit now and the coops in the lower portion of the state are just starting damage assessments.
MS coops said that they will probably need 400 men prior to the storm hitting. The MS Statewide asked FL to come up with a list of resources available so we would be ready to send once the affected MS coops make an official request for mutual aid. We are waiting for the official requests to come in and hope to send Florida crews to MS on Tuesday morning.
Once I get notified of where crews are needed in MS along with contact info for those coops in MS, I will pass that onto the Florida coops that have offered to send mutual aid. Hopefully that will happen this afternoon.
Sincerely,
Ray Trusik
