Steve we use faceshields in metering large padmounts cts etc. We also use them for pulling and setting meters in energized meter sockets . We currently are not using them in overhead applications. Typically most of our circuits are below the threshold where they are required. We are looking to try to engineer out such as back feed etc to keep fault current below threshold where required. Probably not mnch help but that is where we are at present.

1910.269 (l)(8)(v)(d)
1910.269 (l)(8)(v)(e)
