The Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) will hold a public hearing (February 27, 2023, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon) regarding the application process for the U.S Department of Energy's Grid Resilience Formula Grant Program that is funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). (see attached notice)  In addition to providing an overview of this program and various related compliance requirements, FDEM will review the criteria and methods used to award funding to eligible entities and potential approaches for distributing funding (e.g., formula grants and competitive grants).
