FEMA Reminder - contact counties with damage assessments
Michelle Hershel 16 Aug 2021 15:07 UTC
Good Morning - just a reminder to anyone in the path of Fred, in order for the state to be declared a disaster and eligible for FEMA reimbursements, the state and county damage assessment thresholds must be met. In some cases in the past, the counties have not included co-op damage assessments which could have helped them meet their threshold so please remember to contact your county Emergency Managers at some point after the storm passes to give them your numbers. Thank you and I hope everyone stays safe during this Fred event!
