As you know, there have been delays this year in the RUS review of construction plans, specifically related to NEPA reviews.  The Rural Utilities Service (RUS) will be holding an upcoming listening session on its NEPA environmental review process. We encourage borrowers to register and participate.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: USDA Rural Development is evaluating its environmental review process. It is our aim to make the process work better for everyone. To do this we are soliciting participation from external customers such as yourself in a series of virtual listening sessions. USDA Rural Development's environmental review policies and procedures are contained within 7 CFR Part 1970.

You are invited to participate in these virtual events: USDA Rural Development Environmental Review Process Listening Sessions. Each specific session is for Rural Utilities Programs and is designed to gather input based on a specific program area. During these sessions you will have the opportunity to provide integral feedback on your experience with the environmental review process. The details for the RUS specific listening session are above.

After you register, you will receive an email from USDA RD on how to join online or by phone.
