Subject: Procurement Training Opportunity

Good Afternoon,

Procurement during a state of emergency is a process that may lead to de-obligations down the road, especially if you are not aware of the rules. FEMA and FDEM encourage applicants to join one of FEMA's many Procurement Disaster Assistance Team (PDAT) trainings. The training course will be held by FEMA starting tomorrow 10/6 and finishing up on 10/15, please see attached schedule for exact times, links, call in information and access codes. In order for each applicant to gain the most from the PDAT training, we ask that applicants send the most suitable person for the training.

Attached on this email are the following documents that are intended to help with procurement.

1. FEMA-Training_Announcement_Top_10_Purchasing_Mistakes_Oct.2020_508AB2 - Schedule for PDAT Training [INFO MESSAGE 143]
