The 2018 FECA Hurricane Logistics Meeting has been re-scheduled for May 4, 2018 at the Hilton Ocala. The FL PSC decided to hold its own hurricane workshop on FECA’s original meeting date of May 2, so we are forced to move the date.

The Hilton Ocala is located at 3600 SW 36th Ave, Ocala, FL 34474. FECA has a group room block at a rate of $119 per night. If you need a room, the number for making reservations is 352-854-1400 and mention FECA to receive the group rate. The room reservations cutoff date is April 17, 2018.

The meeting will start at either 9:30 or 10 a.m. and conclude by 3 or 4 p.m. In the morning, we plan to have several coops make short presentations regarding lessons learned with Hurricane Irma followed by a round table to discuss hurricane issue. After lunch, we will have a presentation on how to use the Cooperative Mutual Aid Assistance Site followed by an update from Storm Services regarding the restoration services that they can provide.
